Custom domain
Usual path: we buy the domain for you. After you pay, a short form asks what domain to buy. Already have a domain? Email hello@ instead. Your free subdomain stays free either way.
Get custom domain — $79We buy it, or you bring your own
We buy is the usual path. We register it via Cloudflare, and year 1 is included in the $79. After you pay, the setup form asks what domain to buy.
Already own a domain? Email hello@freewebsiteforever.com and we'll point your site at it. The setup form is only for domains we buy.
What's included
We point your site at the domain. The branding strip stays. We handle it all by email. There's no customer portal.
Price
$79 one-time setup. If we bought the domain, renew for about $29/year.
Before you pay
If we buy the domain, we register it through Cloudflare so we can attach it to your site and handle renewal. Cloudflare usually hides personal contact details on public WHOIS. After year 1, renew ~$29/year or the site falls back to your free subdomain. Want the domain in an account you control later? Email hello@freewebsiteforever.com and we'll help with a transfer. Exact registrant details and transfer rules can depend on the registrar — ask if you need that written down for your situation.
